About Us

We are staff developers who are still teachers at heart. We believe that effective professional development includes side by side teaching; analysis of student work; mutual trust; respect and a good dose of laughter. Teachers for Teachers provides professional development to districts and schools. We believe that our role in this work is to build internal expertise within the schools where we work; promote shared leadership; and create a culture of true collaboration and inquiry. Our work is customized to meet the needs of each district or school. We do not sell a program or materials, we base our work on integrating the district’s curriculum with research based practices.
